Film showcases Kazakh culture

Screening was arranged to showcase Kazhastan’s culture and soft image

ISLAMABAD:

In a bid to further strengthen cultural relations, Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and the Embassy of Kazakhstan organised the screening of a Kazakh film titled “Kazakh Khanate: Diamond Sword” in the PNCA auditorium with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan in attendance.

The screening was arranged to showcase Kazhastan’s culture and soft image in order to promote better cultural understanding and collaboration between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. For this reason, the movie had been dubbed and screened in the Urdu language.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan, HE Yerzhan Kistafin, stressed that through the prism of the film, the geopolitical conditions of the formation of the Kazakh Khanate, the life of the people of that time, as well as details of costumes and battle scenes were conveyed. He explained that the film was based on footage of a great historical show.

Alongside the Ambassador, and other members of the Kazakhstan Embassy, the screening was attended by Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Murtaza Solangi, Caretaker Minister for National Heritage & Culture, Jamal Shah and Director General PNCA, Muhammad Ayoub Jamali
