President Dr Arif Alvi on Saturday said that nations have the potential to put their country on the path to prosperity and development. He was speaking at the 31st convocation of the University of Karachi (KU)
Congratulating the passing out graduates, the president said that with the help of rapidly changing science and technology country could be put on path of progress and prosperity.

He mentioned with heavy heart that over 20 million children are out of school in the country. The privileged population of the society should come forward and play their role in bringing these children to the schools.
He urged the graduating students to play due role in the promotion of moral values.
