Police kill two outlaws, arrest one in injured condition

Police eliminated one criminal and seized weapons, ammunition, and a stolen vehicle from the site

Two assailants met their demise, and one sustained injuries during encounters with the Anti Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) and Gulistan-e-Jauhar police. A police officer also suffered.

The AVLC police eliminated one criminal and seized weapons, ammunition, and a stolen vehicle from the site. According to reports, a criminal, identified as Kamran alias Langra, known for spreading fear in the city, engaged in a firefight with AVLC Baldia Division police, resulting in his death. A car stolen from Derakhshan area was recovered from his possession. Kamran's extensive criminal record, spanning from 2011 to 2023, includes 55 cases ranging from theft to drug possession.

In a separate incident, Gulistan-e-Jauhar police killed one criminal and apprehended another with injuries. During a routine check, the suspects opened fire and attempted to flee. However, the police pursued and apprehended them near Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block-9, resulting in the death of one assailant, identified as Toshan, and the capture of Shiraz. Various items, including pistols, mobile phones, and purses, were confiscated from their possession.

The police are scrutinising the criminal background of the deceased and captured assailants.

Additionally, in another confrontation in the Khawaja Ajmeer Nagri area, Police Officer Ali Murtaza, 25, sustained severe injuries.
