Caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki of Balochistan visited the Sibi division to assess the law and order situation and preparations for the upcoming polls. During the meeting, he announced that the provincial government would release funds for transportation to deputy commissioners within two days.
Emphasizing the importance of a comprehensive security plan for peaceful elections, he directed the authorities to ensure the provision of essential facilities, including drinking water and washrooms, at polling stations in all districts.
The chief minister highlighted the significance of maintaining peace in all six districts of the Naseerabad division and acknowledged the Election Commission’s consideration of higher transport rates due to communication difficulties in Balochistan.
In terms of security measures, it was reported that an agreement for the installation of CCTV cameras at sensitive polling stations had been finalized. All deputy commissioners were instructed to nominate a focal person for the operation of CCTV cameras within the next 24 hours.

Caretaker provincial Home Minister Mir Zubair Khan Jamali, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Home Zahid Saleem, Additional IG Police Jawad Dogar, commissioner Naseerabad, DIG police and deputy commissioners of six districts participated in the review meeting held in this connection.
During a previous high-level meeting at the CM Secretariat in Quetta, it was decided to install 8,000 CCTV cameras to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the upcoming general elections in the province. Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki chaired the meeting, which was attended by provincial administrative secretaries, divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners, and senior police officials.
The caretaker chief minister commended the progress made in preparing for peaceful elections.
