One incident sees four bikers crash into canal

MUZAFFARGARH:

A man was killed while two others were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Jatoi Road on Friday.

A speeding van struck two motorcycles, killing 30-year-old Muhammad Yasir on the spot. Two others, namely 18-year-old Muhammad Farooq and 20-year-old Kashan Farooq, were wounded.

All three casualties were moved to Sher Sultan Rural Health Centre. The victims hailed from Kotla Gamon and Sher Sultan.

In a separate incident, at least four motorcyclists fell into a canal due to heavy fog. Fortunately, the riders were saved by rescue teams.

According to a spokesperson for the rescue control room, four young motorcyclists, identified as 20-year-old Khawar, 23-year-old Shahzeb, 20-year-old Numan and Mujtaba, fell into the Ganesh Wah canal situated near Basti Bohar Wala, as they could not see the road ahead amidst dense fog.

All of the victims were shifted to DHQ hospital.
