Responding swiftly, personnel from the Levies and technical staff from the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) reached the site to conduct an investigation. The efforts of SSGC staff were instrumental in the restoration of gas supply.
To facilitate the investigation, Levies personnel cordoned off the area. Bolan, known for its sensitivity, has been a target for militants who consistently aim at security forces and vital national installations in the region.
In a separate incident, a gas leak blast in Quetta’s Jinnah Town area left five individuals injured. The explosion, occurring on the roof of a residential building, inflicted significant injuries on several residents.
Police sources confirmed that among the injured were two women. The blast, resonating widely across the provincial capital, prompted the immediate deployment of emergency services. Injured individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
