Health minister suspends five staff members, emphasises legal action against those not fulfilling their duties

Balochistan’s Caretaker Health Minister, Dr. Ameer Muhammad Khan Jogezai, expressed strong disapproval at the absence of doctors during a surprise visit and took decisive action against five staff members, suspending them on Saturday.

The unexpected inspection took place at Dispensary Village Rahim Gul Baleli, BHU (Basic Health Unit) in GoR Colony, and the Children’s Hospital area in the provincial capital. Dr. Jogezai thoroughly examined various wards and scrutinized the attendance report of the staff.

Expressing his deep dissatisfaction with the absence of doctors, he promptly suspended five staff members, emphasizing that legal action would be taken against those not fulfilling their responsibilities.

During the visit, the minister not only assessed the conditions of the patients but also directed the concerned doctors to enhance facilities for better patient care. Dr. Ameer emphasized the importance of providing more amenities to the patients and reiterated the government’s commitment to improving healthcare services.
