35 disabled children able to walk
After four years of treatment at Erdogan Hospital, 35 children with club feet are now ready to walk normally. The children, who had deformities in the feet from birth, successfully underwent treatment and rehabilitation in Muzaffargarh.
This was stated by Deputy Manager of NGO 'Pehla Qadam' Sadia Ahmad while addressing media persons at a ceremony at Reccep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital on Wednesday. She acknowledged the services of doctors and medical staff involved in the long treatment process, which itself was completed without any surgical operations.
The ceremony was attended by doctors, paramedical staff and citizens including parents who had brought their children to the hospital for treatment. Doctors who remained engaged in the treatment were awarded appreciation certificates.
