LUMHS senate approves budget

New academic programmes, institutions were established

HYDERABAD:

After a seven-year hiatus, the 14th Senate meeting of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro, took place on Friday.

The meeting, led by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ikram Din Ujjan, approved previous and new budgets and took various decisions.

Prof Ujjan highlighted that numerous meetings were held with a gap of seven years, including those of the syndicate, Academic Council, Advance Studies and Research Board, Finance and Planning Committee, and Selection Board. New academic programmes and institutions like Bilawal Medical College, College of Technology, and Thatta Campus were established.
