Transparency in departmental affairs ordered
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has issued directives to ensure transparency in various departments, initiating physical inspections of government vehicles undergoing repair in the store department.
A designated focal person has been appointed to oversee these inspections, ensuring no repair is done without thorough verification. This transparent approach spans all Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC) departments, with the Store Department actively implementing the mayor’s orders. The process involves comprehensive physical assessments of KMC vehicles, followed by issuing certificates and subsequent fund allocation for necessary repairs.
In alignment with these transparency measures, Managing Director of Sindh Solid Waste Management Board, Naseemuddin Mirani, adhering to Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab’s directives, conducted early morning cleanliness inspections in different city districts. During a meeting, he emphasised the importance of cleaning arrangements around the church for the upcoming Christmas festival and the vicinity of Mazar-e-Quaid on Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birth anniversary.
