Under-16 cricket championship: Trials for FATA team on Sept 7

Trials for the Fata Under-16 cricket team under the aegis of the Pakistan Cricket Board will be held.

PESHAWAR: Trials for the Fata Under-16 cricket team under the aegis of the Pakistan Cricket Board will be held simultaneously at Cantt Academy Ground, Qayyum Sports Complex Peshawar and Bannu Cricket Stadium at 9:30 am on September 7, PCB Fata Manager Nisar Ahmad told APP here on Sunday. The trials are being held at two different places as players hailing from Khyber Agency, Bajaur Agency and Mohmand Agency will appear for trials in Peshawar, while players from North and South Waziristan agencies and Orakzai will participate in the trials at Bannu Cricket Stadium on the same day. The Fata Under-16 team is being selected for the forthcoming PCB National Under-16 Cricket Championship. To verify players’ ages, Nisar Ahmad advised youngsters to bring acceptable age verification certificates including form-B, domicile and school-going certificate. He said only youngsters with complete age verification documents would be allowed to participate in the trials.
