Caretaker CM urges end to tribal conflicts

Balochistan Caretaker Chief Minister Ali Mardan Domki has invited all disgruntled Baloch leaders for talks to bring an end to the unrest in the province. He made this offer while addressing a grand jirga organized to find a solution to all tribal conflicts and the prevailing unrest in Balochistan.

Now terrorism and violence must be stopped, the CM emphasized. The caretaker CM reiterated that the government was ready to hold talks with everyone within the parameters of the law and Constitution.

He, however, spoke at length about tribal disputes and urged the tribal elders to play their due role to bring an end to these bloody conflicts.

“All tribal elders should play their role as firefighters to bring a permanent end to the bloody disputes,” Domki said.

Tribal disputes in Balochistan have claimed scores of precious human lives and tribal conflicts have badly affected almost all parts of the province, which covers half of the country in terms of landmass.

Sardar Omar Khan Gorgege, a tribal elder from Balochistan, underlined the need for a solution to small disputes at the local level and demanded of the government to facilitate the reconciliation process.
