Woman killed as car skids into canal

A woman lost her life and three men suffered injuries after their car skidded into a canal water in Ahmadpur East.

Police and rescue service sources said the car was passing through the Nahar Wali area of Ahmadpur tehsil of in Bahawalpur district when the driver lost control over it.

They said the accident had taken place because of very low visibility caused by dense smog and the car fell into canal water.

As a result, the woman lost her life and three men were injured. The body and the injured were shifted to a hospital. The area police said they were investigating the incident.
