PPP, PML-N will form a coalition govt: Makhdoom predicts
The former MNA of Pakistan Peoples Party and spiritual leader of Sarwari Jamaat, Makhdoom Jameeluz Zaman has predicted that PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will form a coalition government after the general elections. "I foresee that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Mian Nawaz Sharif will together form the government," Zaman prophesied while talking to the media on Tuesday in Hala, Matiari district, on the occasion of eighth death anniversary of his father former PPP leader and federal minister Makhdoom Amin Faheem.
He termed the prevailing political differences between his party and the N League temporary and fleeting as water. "Mian sahib is a senior politician. I advise that he and Bilawal should work together."
Zaman suggested that the two parties should do away with politics of opposition for the next five years in the interest of the people who have already faced multiple problems and hardships.
He said that the PML-N can never make inroads in Sindh unless Nawaz Sharif launches a political campaign in the province.

The PPP's leader, whose family is among the founding leaders of the PPP, demanded that all political prisoners including chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan should be set free when the electoral campaign formally starts for February 8, 2024, general elections.
He contended that all political parties and their leaders should be provided an equal opportunity to compete in the elections.
He also argued that until conviction through a court of law, all the charges against the political leaders should be considered just allegations.
He also recommended to the army chief Gen Hafiz Asim Muneer to take cue from his predecessor Gen Yahya Khan who is still being credited for conducting fair and transparent elections in 1970-71.
