Tractor-trolley hits school bus, claims 11-year-old's life

MULTAN:

Two children and a teenager were killed in two separate incidents across Multan on Tuesday. An 11-year-old boy was killed in a bus crash, while a 12-year-old boy and his 19-year-old sister were crushed to death in a roof collapse.

A high-speed tractor-trolley collided with a school bus, propelling it into a canal in Multan’s Raja Ram area on Tuesday morning. The accident claimed the life of 11-year-old Muhammad Ayan and left 10 other students injured.

The collision occurred when the school bus collided with a tractor-trolley while trying to overtake it at high speed. The incident transpired early on Tuesday morning amid dense smog and the force of the impact caused the bus to fell into the canal.

In a separate incident, two siblings were killed and five others suffered injuries when the roof of a house collapsed, burying seven members of the same family beneath the rubble.

Rescue personnel said that Kamran Aziz, a labourer and a resident of Pul Muzaffarabad, was sleeping with his family in the same room when the poorly-constructed roof collapsed on Tuesday morning, suddenly trapping the family under rubble.
