Armed men snatch Rs2m from company staff
Four armed suspects on two motorcycles allegedly snatched Rs2 million from a construction company employee in DHA. The incident, reported to the Defense Police Station, raised suspicions due to the delayed reporting to the police Helpline. Upon initiating the investigation, SHO Shaukat Hayat Awan expressed doubts about the employee's involvement. Adnan, the construction company employee, reported the incident an hour and a half after it occurred, travelling several kilometres without informing anyone.
Meanwhile, a citizen travelling in a car intervened during an armed robbery in Bahadurabad New Town. Two robbers had entered a shop near Char Minar Chowrangi with an intention of robbery. Shopkeepers and customers confronted the robbers while a motorist tried to block the way of robbers, leading to an exchange of gunfire.

One robber died near a private bank on Bahadur Shah Zafar Road, and the citizen, along with shop owner Nadeem Anwar and customers, successfully thwarted the robbery. A 30-bore pistol, stolen money, and a motorcycle were recovered from the deceased robber.
The deceased robber's body has been sent to the hospital for legal procedures. The police are actively investigating both incidents.
