Religious leaders vow to promote harmony
Prominent religious leaders participated in a dialogue on inter-faith harmony hosted by the Presbyterian Education Board (PEB) at a church on Sunday.
All leaders expressed their determination to work hard for promotion of religious tolerance and harmony.
Expressing his views, Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) Chairman Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi said inter-faith harmony was the basis of development and prosperity of the country, while all religions give the message of peace and love.
He said the leaders of all religious communities in the country are spreading the message of peace and love.

Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Abdul Khabeer Azad said the incident of Jaranwala was very painful, but everyone had condemned it and taken joint steps to protect humanity.
Kul Masalik Board Chairman Maulana Asim Makhdoom welcomed the announcement of the opening of a school by the Presbyterian Education Board in Jaranwala.
Margie Trammell said the Presbyterian Church would continue to provide outreach services. Head of Presbyterian Education Board Vida Javed also spoke.
