Teenager among three abducted in Rawalpindi
Three persons, including a child, were abducted in two different cases of kidnapping on Wednesday.
According to the police, Abid Khan registered a case at Ratta Amral police station that his 13-year-old nephew, Saim, went outside the house on a motorcycle but did not return. It is suspected that he has been abducted by unknown persons.
Meanwhile, another case of kidnapping was registered in Saddar Beroni police station in which Muhammad Danish stated that his father Qamar Zaman was present in the house when unknown suspects knocked at the door and when he opened the door eight unidentified suspects forcibly entered the house.
“The accused took away the mobile phone and identity card from my father and forcibly took him out of the house,” the complainant told the police and added that the suspects also took away their neighbour Qari Dilawar with them. Police registered the cases and started an investigation.

Separately, a robber was arrested in an injured condition after an alleged police encounter occurred at the Thatta Khalil Road area of Taxila police station. The policemen remained miraculously unharmed.
During the preliminary investigation, the arrested accused confessed to having committed several crimes.
According to spokesperson for the police, the police party was on a routine patrol on Thatta Khalil Road late at night when three bike-riding robbers opened fire at them.
The arrested accused was identified as Arbaaz. The police mobile was damaged by the firing of the robbers.
The injured was transferred to a nearby hospital, while a search operation was launched to arrest his absconding accomplices.

In another incident, armed men broke into a house in the area of Naseerabad police station. Later, the suspects escaped after issuing threats of dire consequences to the family members.
Police said Kainat Fatima reported that three of her husband’s friends, including Javed, Salar, and Idris, arrived at her residence with four unknown armed men and inquired about her husband.
When they were told that her husband was not at home, they got angered and broke into the house.
They held all the family members hostage before ransacking the house and escaping with cash. Police registered a case and started an investigation.
