Kazakh singer aims to craft national song
A singer from Kazakhstan, who says her life is dedicated to bringing harmony to the world through her music, has set her sight on crafting a national song for Pakistan that she hoped would become popular across the length and breadth of the country.
Gulzar Gabdrakhman was in Pakistan as part of republic day organised by the Kazakhstan mission in Pakistan. She performed at various events and enthused audiences with her melodic and enchanting voice.
She revealed that her journey had taken her to many parts of the world. “Pakistan stands out with its unique charm and allure,” she said while expressing her desire to craft a Pakistani national song.

She has a professional degree in music and singing, earned in the cultural hub of Moscow. Her musical ambitions extend to the realms of Jazz and Western music, which she believes hold the power to bring peace and harmony to the world.
Gulzar's belief in the transformative power of the arts is unwavering. She sees culture as the very identity of a nation, drawing parallels between the rich rituals shared by both Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
