ISLAMABAD:

The children of Nadir al Turk, Palestine deputy head of mission in the country, said they were badly affected by the atrocities committed against innocent civilians in Gaza, particularly Muslim children, and urged the international community to intervene.

The three brothers, Khamees, Fida, and Khuda al Turk acknowledged Pakistan as their second home, appreciating the warmth and support of the government and its people.

They said they draw inspiration from their classmates and teachers who have stood by them in these trying times. They said they had been deeply affected by the suffering of their friends and family back home.

They appealed to the Muslim world for solidarity, as the daily toll in Gaza continues to rise, with over 400 Palestinians, including children, losing their lives. Nearly 5,364 Palestinian children have lost their lives to date, while ambulances struggle to rescue those in need and recover the bodies of the deceased from the rubble of buildings. This situation has taken a toll on their mental and emotional well-being.
