‘Honour’ Crimes: Man injures sister over suspicion

MULTAN: A man shot and injured his sister after he suspected her of having an affair. According to police officials, Bund Bodan resident Fayaz shot at his 18-year-old sister Farzana Bibi after he suspected her of having had multiple affairs with men in the village. On Saturday, Farzana was working in a cotton field when Fayaz and his relative Asif began chasing after her with guns. Area residents said that they saw the girl running as the men began shooting at her. “She was injured in the leg and shoulder but we managed to rescue her,” said a neighbour Mujahid Hussain.
