Man kills nephew over domestic dispute

The police said that the two brothers had an argument over a transaction

RAWALPINDI:

A man shot and killed his nephew over a domestic dispute in the limits of Jatali police station on Saturday.

According to the police, the suspect named Ikhlaq fled after committing the crime. The deceased, Mansoor Shiraz, was shot dead over a domestic dispute, they added.

The body was shifted to a nearby hospital for completing medico-legal formalities.

A case has been registered and the police are looking into the case.

In a separate incident, a woman standing in a street died after being hit by a bullet in the limits of Westridge police station.

The police said that the two brothers had an argument over a transaction. In a rage, one of the brothers opened fire but the bullet hit the woman standing in the street, killing her on the spot. The suspect managed to escape.

Witnesses said that the main accused Shehbaz was fighting with his brother in the street. After hearing a hue and cry, people gathered in the street. Meanwhile, Shehbaz opened fire, killing Mahira Bibi on the spot. The body was taken to a nearby hospital.

A case has been registered and police are conducting raids to arrest the suspect.
