Two die in collision between motorcycle, rickshaw

Due to speeding, they collided with a rickshaw coming in the opposite direction

RAWALPINDI:

Two people were killed while five others, including two women were seriously injured, in a collision between a motorcycle and a rickshaw on Mira Sharif Road.

According to the police, four men from Pindigheb were en-route on a motorcycle to run errands. Due to speeding, they collided with a rickshaw coming in the opposite direction, near Babar Flour Mills. The accident claimed the lives of Muhammad Fahad and his cousin Muhammad Noman. The bodies and the injured were shifted to THQ Hospital Pindigheb while three of the critically injured among them were referred to Rawalpindi for advanced medical care via Rescue 112.

On the same day, the boy of a newborn baby girl was found in a dumpster in the limits of Sadiqabad police station on Thursday.

According to the Rescue 1122 spokesman, the locals spotted the boy and informed them. Subsequently, the team reached the spot and shifted the boy to a nearby hospital.
