19 cops face charges of patronising criminals

The DIG Hyderabad Tariq Razzak Dharejo has reverted and suspended 19 cops posted in Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar and Tando Muhammad Khan districts because of their alleged connivance with the criminal elements.
"... due to their involvement in patronizing organized crime and collecting extortion from narcotics sellers," read five separate office orders issued on Saturday. Sub Inspectors Ayaz Hussain and Muhammad Arif Jarwar, Qurban Ali Qambrani and Mazhar Ali Naich and Assistant Sub Inspectors Muhammad Hassan Vighio and Shahid Chawli are among those suspended and demoted.
All the suspended and demoted police officers and officials have been restricted in the police line of their district.
All the suspended police officers and officials have been ordered to attend daily roll call in the police line of their district while suspended officers and employees have been banned from leaving the headquarters without the approval of the authority.
According to the DIG's order, SHO sub-inspector Qurban Ali Qambrani has been appointed in Thana Bula Khan police station of Jamshoro district, and ASI Muhammad Hasan Wagyu and constable Hamza Barijo appointed in Nooriabad police station.
