Over 120kg hashish seized from trailer

SSP disclosed that 123 kg of hashish was concealed in various trailer compartments

The Mochko police on Wednesday successfully apprehended the primary operator of an inter-provincial drug trafficking syndicate and recovered 123 kilogrammes of hashish hidden in secret compartments of a 22-wheeler trailer-truck.

Bashir Ahmed, a suspected member of a drug trafficking gang, was detained by Mochko police, thereby foiling an attempt to smuggle hashish into Karachi. The value of the narcotics in question is estimated to be in the millions of rupees, as stated by SSP Kemari Arif Aslam Rao.

It was revealed that the arrested individuals had traversed the distance from Quetta to Karachi in a 22-wheeler trailer. The detained suspect has indicated that Agha Jan Amir, a resident of Chaman, is the individual responsible for the confiscated drugs. Agha Jan Amir had intended to transport the hashish to the group at the Karachi Portrack base from Chaman.

SSP Arif Aslam Rao disclosed that 123 kg of hashish was concealed in various trailer compartments, with 99 packages containing more than 3 grams of hashish each. In response, an investigation has been initiated, and the arrested individual faces charges under the Narcotics Act.
