KARACHI:

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) for Sindh, Riffat Mukhtar Raja, emphasised the need to strengthen and enhance the criminal justice system to address and resolve crimes effectively. This came after the IGP visited the Sindh High Court Bar on Wednesday.

He highlighted that the police, in addition to its operational capabilities, is continually progressing with a focus on innovative investigative approaches and methods. This approach not only bolsters research and investigative efforts but also ensures that arrested individuals face charges supported by substantial evidence, leading to convictions in the respective courts.

Riffat Mukhtar underscored his mission as the head of Sindh Police, which is to maximise service to the people and transform the police into a true friend and servant of the community. During the meeting, the President and Honorary Secretary of the High Court Bar discussed various important issues with the IGP.
