Following Murree's elevation to the status of a district, a new campus of Divisional Public School and College Rawalpindi has been established at Government High School Murree, which according to officials will cater to students from playgroup through Class VII.
As per officials, these actions mirror similar developments in other districts. For students who enroll before November 15, no admission fees will be charged, and their monthly fee will be reduced by 50 per cent.
In addition, the date for the admission test will be announced soon, and students interested in taking the entrance test can register themselves by dialing 0333-0007025. As for subjects like English, Math, Science, Urdu, and computer, teachers can submit their resumes via WhatsApp by specifying ‘Murree Campus’ to the provided number for Rawalpindi Divisional Public School, Murree campus.
Moreover, Playgroup to grade IV students will have to pay a total monthly fee of Rs2,500, while grade V to VII students will be required to pay Rs3,500. Officials further said regular sessions are set to commence in November 2023.

Students at the Murree campus will have the option to continue their education at Divisional Public School and College Rawalpindi if they choose to relocate there after the winter break.
Furthermore, individuals unable to join in Rawalpindi will receive a waiver in winter fees this year. This provision aims to provide flexibility and support to students and their families, they added.
Improving sanitation
Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha officially handed over two new compactor vehicles to the Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) administration to improve the sanitation system in Murree.
