Govt hospitals upgradation reviewed

A meeting was convened in the Department of Primary and Secondary Health Care, chaired by the provincial health ministers Dr Javed Akram and Dr Jamal Nasir.
Additional Secretary Admin Rashid Irshad, Director General Punjab Drugs Dr Sohail, MD Children's Hospital Lahore Dr Tipu Sultan, Dr. Pervaiz, MS General Hospital Lahore Dr. Nudrat, and other relevant officers were present. The caretaker provincial health minister Dr Javed Akram led a review of the ongoing progress in the upgradation of government hospitals.
Provincial Health Minister Dr Javed Akram emphasized that, in accordance with Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi's directives, feasibility reports for all government hospitals are under preparation.
These reports involve thorough assessments of medical facilities, human resources, administrative affairs, and developmental projects across the province's government hospitals.
