Sexual assault: 14-year-old abducted and gang raped on Eid
A 14-year-old girl was abducted from her home and gang raped on Wednesday evening.
According to police officials, Tirasi 10-RK resident Muhammad Rasheed’s daughter was abducted on Wendesday night from her home by accused Sadiq and his two friends.
Local residents said that Sadiq had broken into the house and kidnapped the girl while her family were away visiting relatives.
“He probably took her to his dera, where they raped her,” a neighbour Shams Raza said, adding that the girl was dumped outside her house the next day. “She was unconscious and her clothes were torn. When we recognised her we immediately called the police,” he added.
Rasheed told police that his daughter was severely injured and both her legs had been fractured. “The doctor has issued a medical report and a case has been registered,” police officials said. Rasheed told reporters that his daughter had suffered a severe head injury.
“She hasn’t woken up yet and doctors have told us that her condition is serious. She has been brutally beaten,” he added.
The girl has been admitted to the DHQ Hospital in Khanewal, where doctors have said her condition is serious. “She has suffered severe head injuries and has not yet gained consciousness. She was raped by three different men according to DNA test reports and we have contacted the police,” Dr Asad Tiwana said.
Police officials have registered the case but so they have been unable to recover any of the accused. Police said that they were searching for Sadiq and his accomplices.

@Arzoo: you are right but dont blame the mullahs for Jamaat e Islami . Dont forget it was the maulana of the mosque who mobilized the people to report Mukhtara Mai case .The liberals fail to realize the good role the maulanas have played. Its is unjustified to bash them for a thing which only a small portion of them said. I know many aalims and maulanas who would stand up for any women who got raped ..

I don't believe this news, because I can't imagine Muslims doing such bad things to another Muslim, that too during the Eid.
If it is true by chance, then we should not highlight the incident,as this will give a bad image to us. Things like happen in India too, but such things never come to light. In US too, rape crimes are common, so, please don't publish news items as if these things happen only in our part of the world.

Let us give it a deep thaught and remove the word Islamic and keep only Republc Of Pakistan so that no one can say this happend in a Muslim counyryThese animals need to be given the most severe punishment possible. This society is really headed down the gutter. Remaining silent shouldn't be an option for anyone (especially educated urban folk) anymore - especially to such incidents.
@Ovais: Yes, and this should be something that should concern the so-called Islamic parties such as Jamaat e Islami and others too numerous to mention. Raising the voice for the oppressed and the violated, the weak and the annihilated, and for the protection of these innocent victims. That is the essence of the Islamic message. For these religious parties who do not succeed in getting more than couple of seats to exist and to propogate their useless agendas is meaningless. Cases like these is what they should struggle for, and then see how the public will follow them.
Now this is a pressing conecern ET . give it more light.
