Eight robberies reported in an hour

Robbers looted millions of rupees from five medical stores and sweetmeat shops

Citizens were deprived of cash, mobile phones, motorcycles and other valuables in eight incidents of robbery in Minchanabad within an hour.

The city remained in the grip of robbers in broad daylight and they escaped on motorcycles stolen during the looting spree.

The robberies at gunpoint, mostly in medical stores, sparked fear among the traders as well as citizens.

The robbers looted millions of rupees from several five medical stores and sweetmeat shop, while fleeing after the robberies, they also stole a motorcycle from the same area.

In another incident, robbers took away Rs50, 000 and a motorcycle from a citizen at Gardawiwala railway crossing.
