Girls sweep top positions in HSSC exams

Overall passing percentage remains 63.66%

In a remarkable achievement, female students secured the top three positions in the annual Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) exams conducted by the Abbottabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE).

The results were announced at a ceremony held at the main auditorium of the Abbottabad BISE. Top performers and parents along with officials of various educational institutions attended the event.

A total of 39,625 students appeared for the exams, out of which 24,832 successfully passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 63.66 per cent.

In the pre-medical group, the first position was claimed by Amna Kashif from the Peace Group of School and College Mansehra, with an impressive score of 1,038 marks.

The second position was jointly secured by Amen Murtaza and Mahroosh Tanveer, both students of Tameer-e-Wattan Public School and College Abbottabad, each earning 1,034 marks. Wajiha Fiyaz, another student from Tameer-e-Wattan Public School and College Abbottabad, clinched the third position with 1,032 marks.

In the pre-engineering group, Umme Habiba Malik from the same school secured the first position with 1,031 marks. Maryam Fatima, also from TWPSC Abbottabad, stood second with 1,021 marks. The third position was shared by Mohazama of TWPSC and Maryam Fareed of Dawn Public School and College Haripur.
