In pictures: Maya Ali and family perform Umrah

Actor travelled to the holy city of Mecca with her family to perform the sacred pilgrimage

Beloved Pakistani actor Maya Ali recently took to her Instagram account to share the news of her performing Umrah with her mother, brother, sister-in-law, and baby niece. She made the announcement via an Instagram post, which included pictures of her and her family from their travels through the holy city of Mecca located in Saudi Arabia.

The first picture in the carousel post showed the Yunhi actor huddled close together with her family members as they all stood and smiled in front of the Holy Ka’aba.

In another picture, Maya was seen embracing and kissing her mother on the cheek with the glorious and sacred monument present in the background.

The post also included some solo shots of Maya—one in which she could be viewed amongst the crowd of pilgrims circling the house of Allah and another where the Pehli Si Muhabbat star sat on a prayer mat at the edge of a fenced-in mountain, looking down.

Other pictures in the swipe-through post included a selfie of the Parey Hut Love star looking radiant in a baby-pink abaya as she smiled and posed with her sister-in-law and niece and a picture of her brother as smiling and posing with his wife and daughter in front of the Holy Ka’aba.

Expressing her gratitude for having gotten the chance to embark on and complete this spiritual journey alongside her family, Maya wrote: “Alhamdulillah for all His blessings.”

“We all were planning to perform umrah together for so long and, finally, Allah has answered all our prayers. May Allah give everyone a chance to visit this holy place, Ameen,” added the Jo Bichar Gaye actor.
