Balochistan’s health sector gets a wake-up call
Balochistan’s Caretaker Chief Minister Ali Mardan Domki has declared the development of the healthcare sector as the paramount focus of his administration.
In a proactive move, he embarked on surprise morning visits to various health centers in Quetta to personally assess the attendance and performance of healthcare professionals.
During one such unannounced visit to the basic health unit in Pashtoonabad, an underserved suburb of the provincial capital, the chief minister reviewed the staff attendance and conducted an inspection of the pharmacy store.

Accompanied by senior officials, CM Domki emphasized that enhancing the healthcare sector ranks among the highest priorities of his government.
Speaking on the occasion, he issued a stern warning to health professionals, emphasizing that the government would hold accountable any officials who failed to fulfill their duties.
He underlined the nobility of serving the ailing population and stressed the need for commitment to implementing the government’s healthcare policies.
