Five women among 7 abducted

Two young men foil their abduction attempts

Seven people, including five women and a student at University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), were abducted. Meanwhile, two youths foiled their attempted abductions in different incidents.

According to the police report, 22-year-old Hamza Shaukat, a student at UAF, was abducted by unknown suspects from the university at gunpoint. The abductee’s mother, Rukhsana Ilyas, reported the abduction of her son to Civil Lines police. After registering a case, police started searching for the kidnapped student.

Meanwhile, Tariq, Shahbaz and Shahid allegedly tried to kidnap Razia Begum's 19-year-old daughter Asma in Shoaib Bilal Market. When her mother refused, the accused kidnapped Asma Bibi at gunpoint.

In another incident, 17-year-old Rizwan was kidnapped by unknown persons in Kot Omer Farooq, while Yaqoob's sister Nimra was abducted by unknown suspects from Children's Hospital on Jhang Road. Shahzad's sister Naila was abducted from Main Bazaar Mansoorabad, while Suraiyya was abducted from Shadman.

According to a police report, Ayesha was allegedly abducted from the road by Ehsan and his accomplices in Nighaban Pura while she was going to buy groceries. Meanwhile in Kehkashan Colony No. 3, Shakeel and other five suspects allegedly tried to kidnap Qamar-ul-Zaman's nephew.

In 253 RB, Shani and others allegedly tried to kidnap the son of Ishtiaq Ahmed.
