Art exhibit celebrates 75 years of SBP

Dr Inayat Hussain emphasised that art has the power to capture the essence of the present era

KARACHI:

An art exhibition, titled ‘Hayat-e-Nau: Studio of Dreams’ was organised by the State Bank of Pakistan at its museum on Wednesday. The exhibition aimed to commemorate the 75-year history of the SBP and Pakistan’s national progress, while also providing a platform for young and talented artists from across the nation to envision a creative future.

Speaking on the occasion, SBP Deputy Governor Dr Inayat Hussain emphasised that art has the power to capture the essence of the present era. He applauded the high quality of the artworks on display, stating, “By exploring these paintings, we can observe how young artists have interpreted and responded to the evolving world around us.”

He extended his congratulations to the selection committee members and organisers for bringing together creative talents from all corners of the country to showcase their individuality and versatility.
