Longstanding Marvel star Chris Evans reportedly went off the market for good this Saturday as he married girlfriend and Portuguese actor Alba Baptista in a private ceremony.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate, at-home ceremony in Massachusetts this past weekend. Attended by Evans’, 42, and Baptista’s, 26, closest family and friends, the newly betrothed couple reportedly made their guests sign NDAs to ensure the news was kept under wraps.

Some guests even included the all-too-familiar Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Jamie Chung, and Bryan Greenberg.

While news of the actor’s nuptials surprised many, fans did not waste any time sharing their reactions to the shocking developments. Many “Chris Evans girlies’ were left saddened by the news, sharing various gifs expressing their heartbroken sentiment over not being the bride.

Others, though, felt that the large majority of reactions mourning the news were overdone and “delusional,” calling for people to “leave the man and his wife alone.”
