Hania Aamir is a die-hard Shah Rukh Khan fan – here’s proof

Actor Hania Aamir has caught the attention of many social media users with the recent videos she has been posting of herself doing Shah Rukh Khan’s signature open-armed pose in various places. A simple scroll-through on her Instagram profile shows that the Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha protagonist has been enjoying herself on vacation these days. Her multiple-destination vacation has given her the perfect photo and video ops for striking King Khan’s iconic pose in a variety of colourful and scenic locations.

Hania’s ode to the widely acknowledged King of Bollywood comes as no surprise as the Mere Humsafar actor is an avid consumer of Indian cinema. And now, it’s also safe to assume that she is a big Shah Rukh fan. The pose is instantly recognizable as SRK’s signature move for the romantic heroes he often portrays on screen and the arms-wide-open gesture is always the perfect symbol for his characters’ yearning and love for his leading lady.

This is not the first time that Sang-e­-Mah star has paid tribute to the Indian superstar with her internet shenanigans. In 2022, Hania attempted the ‘SRK Hook Step Challenge’, which was a compilation of well-recognised dance songs from some of SRK’s most famous films and the players taking part in the challenge had to enact the dance steps from those songs while blindfolded. The Ishqiya star ended up nailing the challenge, as she appeared to be well-versed in several of the actor’s renowned dance moves over the course of his illustrious career.

The Jawan actor’s iconic, almost slow-motion, arm-raising pose, struck while facing away from or towards the camera, does not belong to a specific film. It has found its way into a number of entries on his filmography over the years, due to its status as a fan-favourite pose by the King of Bollywood himself.
