ISLAMABAD:

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has granted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party until September 13 to present its arguments in the ongoing intra-party elections case.

Emphasising the need for timely resolution, the electoral watchdog announced that a decision on the allocation of electoral symbols to PTI would be made after the arguments are heard.

A three-member bench, led by Nisar Ahmad Durrani, presided over the PTI intra-party elections matter at the ECP Secretariat. PTI's Barrister Gohar appeared before the commission and submitted a response on behalf of the party.
