ISLAMABAD:

The country’s first Children's Resources Centre will be set up by the Lok Virsa National Heritage Museum in collaboration with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

According to sources within the Ministry of National Heritage, the centre within Lok Virsa Museum will focus on traditions, customs, clothing, music, and crafts.

Eminent artists and teachers will collaborate to produce educational materials on the country's heritage, aiming to make the learning process engaging and understandable.

Federal Minister for National and Literary Heritage, Jamal Shah, alongside the UN Mission Chief in Pakistan and the Italian Ambassador, is set to inaugurate the centre.

Lok Virsa Deputy Director Hina

Anwar told The Express Tribune that Pakistan's diverse cultures are like a garden of flowers, expressing optimism that the Children's Resource Center would motivate young boys, presenting them with certificates from skilled artisans.

Moreover, the Italian National Art Gallery will exhibit artworks of talented young artists, adding an extra layer of creativity to this enriching experience.
