KARACHI:

Senator Taj Haider, in-charge of PPP Central Election Cell, says that by manipulating the population data through the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, a plan has been prepared to steal PPP's mandate.

Haider, in a statement, said people were not fully counted in many areas which were the stronghold of PPP.

Senator Taj Haider said that the so-called 'digital census' was stopped at midnight on May 22. In response to protests, the CCI meeting was told that this was done to avoid changing the existing number of seats in the National Assembly in the provinces and to avoid the constitutional amendment required under Article 51.
