Training imparted on teaching strategies

Around 60 lecturers and assistant professors from prominent public sector universities participated in a three-day training workshop aimed at fostering improved teaching strategies.

The workshop on ‘Advancing teaching excellence: Strategies for effective higher education instruction and professional development’ was organized at the Punjab University Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering. The participants also included teachers from the Government College University and Islamia University Bahawalpur.

Addressing the participants, Punjab Higher Education Commission Chairman Dr Shahid Munir emphasised the pivotal role of proficient educators in education, highlighting teacher training as the key to enhancing teaching methodologies.
