Indian influencer Kusha Kapila refutes rumours of dating Arjun Kapoor

The social media star was roped into speculation that she was dating the recently single actor

Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor’s name has been making rounds on the social media fronts as the actor’s current relationship status remains unknown. While rumours spread of Kapoor having parted ways with girlfriend Malaika Arora, new-found speculation suggests that popular Indian influencer Kusha Kapila is his newest love interest. However, Kapila’s cryptic messages seem to suggest a different story, as per India Today.

The social media guru sent a rather interesting message to her Instagram broadcast channel amid rising gossip, seemingly dismissing “bakwas (nonsense)” rumours right off the forefront. She is reported to have said, “Roz apne baare mein itni bakwas padh kar mujhe apna khud se ek formal introduction karwana padega,” which roughly translates to, ‘every day I read such nonsense about myself that I will now to formally introduce me to my own self.’

In another statement that has reportedly been deleted from her Instagram, she wrote, “Every time I read sh** about myself I just hope and pray ki meri mummy na padh le ye sab, unki social life has taken a big hit (every time I read sh** about myself I just hope and pray that my mother does not read any of it, her social life has taken a big hit)”

Earlier this year, the influencer-turned-actor parted ways with her now ex-husband, Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia. Meanwhile, Kapoor has seemingly broken up with his girlfriend of five years in a very sudden turn of events. However, none of the two parties has made any public statement about their split despite rumours beginning to surge well over a few weeks ago.

More recently, however, the Dabangg actor was spotted leaving an eye clinic wearing a sweatshirt that has sent social media into an even larger frenzy than before. The actor and model donned an oversized sweatshirt with a caption that read, “Let’s Fall Apart.”

The two actors initially made their relationship Instagram-official in 2019 after keeping matters under wraps. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, the Two States actor had spoken of how “organically” the two had gotten together and how much each other’s presence was valued in their lives. He said, “I’ve stood by her, and she has stood by me,” recalling the harder times the couple shared amongst “facing speculation, brickbats, chatter, [which was] unnecessary at times because of social media toxicity.”
