Fake customs official sells tampered vehicle

The engine and chassis number of vehicle was bogus

A case has been registered against a man who sold a tampered vehicle by posing as a customs official in Jhang.

The case was registered by Shawal Ahmed, a resident of Gulfishan Colony, who alleged that he sold a Dala vehicle to Muhammad Ahmed Yousuf in exchange for a plot, a motorcycle, and a car. Yousuf had pretended to be a customs official and had given Ahmed a tampered vehicle.

When Ahmed checked the engine and chassis number of the vehicle, he found that it was bogus.

He then filed a case against Yousuf, accusing him of forgery and fraud.

The Jhang Bazar Police have registered a case against the suspect under the provisions of 420-468-471 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and launched a search for him after forming a team.
