KARACHI:

Gorakh Hills Development Authority (GHDA) Chairman and former MNA, Sardar Rafiq Ahmad Jamali, announced significant advancements aimed at enhancing the tourist experience and safety at the Gorakh Hills Station.

Sardar Rafiq Ahmed Jamali has disclosed that over the past nine years, a total of Rs3 billion have been allocated to GHDA.

“This funding has facilitated the expansion and improvement of a 35-kilometre, 18-foot-wide road to ensure the secure transit of tourists.

Jamali highlighted the completion of 16 furnished duplex family resorts, each equipped with two rooms, a lounge, terrace, and scenic viewpoints.

Additionally, an eight-room fully furnished tourist hostel, a spacious event area, a restaurant, a tuck shop, a PD rest house, a fibreglass rest house, a mosque, multiple viewpoints connected by internal roads, a cricket ground, and a children’s play area.
