Electronics shop robbers held, stolen goods recovered

Four men had took away with a licensed 9mm handgun, 23 touchpads, four mobile phones besides Rs120,000 cash

KARACHI:

The Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police apprehended three suspected robbers involved in a robbery at an electronics store.

According to the law enforcement officials, the robbery incident took place on August 17 when four armed men targeted an electronics outlet in the New Rashidabad area of Khawaja Ajmer Nagri.

The culprits managed to take away a licensed 9mm handgun, 23 touchpads four mobile phones, two keypads for mobile phones, as well as Rs120,000 cash from the shop. The surveillance footage capturing the robbery incident, went viral on social media.

Utilising the evidence from the video footage and insider information, the Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan police successfully apprehended three suspects, identified as Usman, Umer, and Bilal. These individuals are believed to have actively participated in the robbery.

Furthermore, the police recovered the stolen mobile phones, cash, licensed firearms, and the backpacks used in the crime. Cases related to illegal possession of firearms have been registered. Law enforcement agency is conducting raids to locate and apprehend the fourth individual involved in the incident.
