Microsoft's 'special event' set for next month
Microsoft says it will be holding a 'special event' in New York on September 21, leaving fans to speculate the unveiling of new products, like updates to its hardware Surface and its integration of OpenAI's chatbot into its products.
Microsoft hasn't given many hints as to what the event is about, but it could also be intending to reveal details of an update to its Windows 11 operation system.

The company is joining the tech flurry, as Apple, Amazon and Google have all planned their launch events in September or the next few months. Apple is expected to release its iPhone 15 in September, along with Amazon's event to launch new gear. Google is expected to release its range of Pixel devices in the coming months as well.
