Airport police recovers lost bag of female passenger

Bag contained valuable items worth Rs4 million including gold ornaments, essential documents, bank cards and cash

The airport police successfully located lost bag of a female passenger and returned it to the lady. The bag contained valuable items worth Rs4 million including gold ornaments, essential documents, bank cards and cash.

Saira Mustafa Shaikh, a resident of Gulistan-e-Jauhar, arrived from Islamabad on August 7. When she reached home she realised that she forgot her bag in the trolley in the parking area. Later on August 12, she reported to the police about the bag and mentioned the items and cash in it in the report. She told the police that the bag contained important documents, bank cards, gold jewellery worth Rs4 million and Rs40,000 cash.

The airport police undertook dedicated efforts to recover the missing bag. It was determined that a car driver had found the female passenger’s handbag in the parking lot and took it home. With the help of CCTV footage, the police traced the bag’s whereabouts, took it back from the person who had taken it and subsequently returned it to its rightful owner.

Saira Mustafa Shaikh expressed her gratitude and contentment on getting her belongings back. She appreciated the airport police’s diligent work and commitment to resolving the issue.
