Has internet found Sushant Singh Rajput's lookalike?

Late actor's supposed doppelganger sparks suspicion

Images and videos of an alleged Sushant Singh Rajput lookalike recently started making the rounds on the internet, piquing the curiosity of social media users and fans of the late Bollywood actor.

Sushant’s supposed doppelganger, who goes by the name Donim Ayaan, took to Instagram to share reels of himself in which he bore an uncanny resemblance to the M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story actor. His videos quickly amassed millions of views as they went viral and fans flocked to Ayaan’s page to witness the resemblance for themselves.

However, many quickly began to suspect that something was amiss about Donim looking so similar to Sushant. Many accused him of using AI to either look like Sushant or enhance his likeness to the deceased star. What further heightened people’s suspicions was the fact that the user Donim Ayaan had no posts on his profile from before June 26, 2023, which was when he first shared a reel of himself appearing like a resurrected version of Sushant.

Even though Donim has neither confirmed nor denied that he uses AI to appear as Sushant’s identical twin, fans and internet users strongly suspect that his videos are AI-generated and have gone on to accuse him of using Sushant to gain fame.

Sushant Singh Rajput was a young 34-year-old actor who sadly committed suicide and was found dead at his home on June 14, 2020. His successful acting career was tragically cut short, but his filmography still consists of 12 films that will continue to be a part of his legacy. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Drive, and Kedarnath are counted as some of his most acclaimed projects. The film Dil Bechara was his last project and it was released in 2020, after his passing.
