MQM thanks PM for addressing its reservations

PM expresses satisfaction over 'unanimous approval' of digital census by all political parties

ISLAMABAD:

A delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) led by party Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday and discussed with him the overall political situation in the country.

The delegation, including Dr Farooq Sattar, Aminul Haq and Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, thanked the prime minister for addressing their party’s reservations on the digital census.

“Thanks to Allah Almighty, the seventh digital census has been completed and the results of the census also stand unanimously approved by all political parties,” the prime minister remarked in the meeting.

The delegation apprised the prime minister of the ongoing development projects in Sindh, particularly in Karachi. Economic Affairs Minister Ayaz Sadiq and Power Minister Khurram Dastgir also attended the meeting.
