Suspects take away with 0.2 million, injured shifted to Hazro Civil Hospital

HAZRO:

Unknown dacoits shot and injured a trader during a robbery incident near Chhach Interchange within the limits of the Hazro police station and made away with Rs0.2 million.

According to sources, the injured was shifted to Hazro Civil Hospital.

They said 50-year-old Abdul Razzaq, a resident of Tehsil Hazro and a cattle trader by profession was on his way on a motorcycle along with his companion named Junaid when unknown armed dacoits astride a motorcycle stopped them. Upon resisting, they opened gunfire, injuring Abdul Razzaq seriously.

The accused snatched Rs0.2 million and fled the scene. Sources further said the police reached the crime scene upon receiving information. They started an investigation and launched a manhunt to arrest the dacoits. It should be noted that three incidents of robbery have been reported within the limits of Hazro police station within a month.

Due to increasing street crimes, people have become victims of insecurity.

Earlier, in different incidents of robbery, Rs1.6 million were snatched from a trader in the Dhaki area. Moreover, Rs0.1 million were snatched from a young man near a toll plaza, while in other street crime incidents, citizens have been deprived of thousands of rupees and mobile phones.
